--SHAY'S ENCOUNTER--
Perry Ellis/Details/NBC Fashion 101 with Will Estes in Denver, CO - 10.23.04
Wow this day was just awesome, I arrived at the Cherry Creek mall about 9:15am. Eric drove me there because I wasn't sure how to get there perse. We just grabbed some hot cholcate and ate something small and just wait for my friend's to show up. After Foley's opened up, I went inside to see if anything was set up and whatnot. They was getting things ready still so I just waited around they had a couch for him which looked so comfy. My friend's arrived bout 10:15am or so, they met up with me (but got lost trying to find me) haha and Eric left til it was time to get me later in the afternoon.
People started showing up about 10:30am, and the most was probabilty about 50 people or so.
I was the first one in line go fiqure haha but I let Gretchi and Jennifer be in front of me. We saw Will get out of a dark car outside, talking to people that was working there, came inside and he was escorted to the fitting room to change, this is where I was freaking out because my camera wasn't working, but thank god, it did., haha. While we waited there was people serving drinks and food, and then we all entered for a contest to go to a NBC show, and 93.3 radio station was there also. Finally it was about time, 93.3 welcomed Will, and hardly anyone clapped lol, we did and cheered.
Well the lady was saying it's time and Will was getting ready by the couch, and Gretchi and Jennifer wanted to go together but the lady wouldn't let them, then Jennifer was telling me to go first, but I was like "Heck no, I'm not ready yet, you guys go first". Gretchi went first and talked to him. While I was in line trying to think of what to say and taking a few picture's, then I asked the girl behind me if she could take some picture's of Will and I, she said sure, then Jennifer asked if I could do that when she goes up which I did. Jennifer gave him the fanbook, and they talked for a bit.
*takes deep breath* now it's my turn, so I walk up to Will and goes "Hi, I'm Will", I replied "Hello, I'm Shay", and we shook hands, then we just stood and talked for a bit, I was telling him how I loved him on 7th Heaven and how I've been a fan since, and he was like surprised that anyone remembered him from that show, and he was like "Wow, that was such a long time ago", I told him he did a great job on the show, and he said "Awee,well thank you".
then we was getting ready for pose for a picture, there was a lady there that takes a poloarid picture then Will signs the frame, and I just seem couldn't get ready for my picture haha. Then after the picture was taken, Will and I sat on the couch and talked some more, he asked me where I was from, I told him from Colorado, Then the lady handed my picture so I stood up to get it and sat back down, ( tsk tsk BAD Will) :X and then he asked me what highschool I went to, and I told him Ranum, and he probabilty never heard of it, and he was like "nope, haven't", . I said well it was a dumb school, not very great, lol, and we talked some more but can't remember what perse. Before I left I was telling the girl to hold on, I asked Will for a favor, if I could kiss him, and he was like "Yeah thats fine", then and he asked who do we pose for, and we posed, and I was so nervous but it happened, I couldn't beleive it, and people was laughing and saying "awww". After the photo was taken, Will just was smiling like wide, but also blushing like no other. I told him thank you for the other picture, and we hugged and I went on my way, and as I walked I got handed a giftbag which was cool, and we just hanged out by the corner sorta.
We just watched, hanged out, ate some fruit haha.
Will was actually having a good time with us, we was just laughing, having a great time, making jokes, giggling. *snorts* and that boy just kept looking at me non stop, I thought I had something on my face, it was just odd. *ahem* I also won gift from doin the trivia thing but couldn't remember the answer after Gretchi told me haha, I ran up there saying something that didn't even make sense, everyone was laughing, *Yes, I'm the laughter of the crowd* haha, but yeah I ended up winning anyways, and I won a school bag, with men clothes, which I gave Eric later the day, and I won men's cologne which smells really good, so I kept that *winks*, Will was even wearing the cologne I won, so that interesting, then I won also a t-shirt and cd case, it was pretty kewl =} I was also gonan call Tessa, Tina and Kristin (but I fiqured Kristin would be busy at her concert) haha, but since they told me they liked Will I'll do something to surprise them, but I had no service whatsoever in the mall, which made me mad *cries* Sorry, still love ya guys! I also took a picture of his butt, which came out better than I thought, I moved over to where he was standing and my camera just clicked right as he was getting ready to sit down which worked out, but I seriously thought the picture wasn't gonna come out haha, *whistles*
At one point between a meeting with a fan, Will talked to us from across, and I was all telling him he has to pose doing a peace sign, he said he can't do it, cuz he's in the Marines, I was confused but he did keep doing the peace sign but wouldn't perse pose for it, *growls* but what he meant was in the Marines they call it the victory sign lol, I dunno haha, but we all laughed, he was just so adorable, I also kept mentioning that all day, when I would read his lips what he was talking to the other fans. haha
This is when he had to go to the restroom so he was ecsorted, and it took awhile but we fiqured why it was on the 2nd or 3rd floor, then he went back to the fitting room and ate some lunch. I was sitting on the ottoman, I wasn't sure if it was okay to sit at first but my legs was killig me, I need to sit down at least few seconds, then after waiting paintely, I saw Will coming out w/ a lady, but acted I didn't know *whistles*, and the lady asked us to move in a rude voice, which was uncalled for but Will def made it fun again, he was all "Just relax and make yourself a home" I was like awe how sweet, (I should of laid down) *laughs*
Well after awhile, a lady came over to us and asked if we was having a great time and of course we all said yes, and she asked if we was staying for the big prize, and we said no, we was waiting to see if we can talk to him again and get a few picture's of the fanbook, then I mentioned about the interview I was intrested in doing and wanted to talk to him about it, she said it'll be fine, so to just wait. After Will was done with the rest of the fans waiting, the lady went to Will, and asked if we could come up once again, he said of course, so I walke up there, and we all pose for group photo's, I was next to Will *perks*. He sorta held me tight while we posed, I was like whoa, but then after the 3rd pose, I was like "Damn, it's hot in here", and Will goes "Yeah it is hot" *laughs* Wooohooo!
Then we got ready to pose for two more group photo's and the lady didn't know how to work my camera so I had to help her (which was odd, I felt Will's hand letting go) haha, went back and after we got done posing, I asked Will if I could talk to him about something important, he said sure, what's up, *sigh*, and I told him about how I help do a promotion site, and we do interview's w/ artists and actor's, and that we was interested and so was the fans, and he was like thrilled, and I told him that in the fanbook had some information about it and he was like "where in there", he goes well can you show me your letter, I said sure, so I grabbed it, dropping a stupid's girl picture about being Miss America *rolls eyes* haha, and I couldn't find it so I asked Gretchi, and then I showed him where it was at, and he took it out and put it in the front of the book so he knew where it'll be at. I told him it could be a email interview, and he said how about a phone interview, I said sure, whatever works, just to email me and we can set it up, and he said sure no problem, it won't be til next few days or so, I told him it was no rush, and he just said thank you, and I told him no thank you, and I just stood by him for awhile til the girls was ready to get their picture's w/ the fanbook, and then after that, we all just talked to him for awhile, and I also asked him if I could have him sign a autograph for Tina, and (I almost forget but didn't) w00t go me. He also said that we was such great fans to do this for our friend's, and then I also asked to get one more picture with him, he said no problem (I did as for a kiss pose but he wouldn't do it, shy shy boy) haha. Well this is when Will had to get going, but couldn't so I just went over to where my stuff is and let him be, and we all just waited grabbed our stuff, and as Will went back to the fitting room, he said thanks, nice meeting you guys, and smiled. *giggle*
That was about it for the Will part, then afterwards, we just went and ate some lunch because Jennifer was starving haha, we did have a hot waiter haha, and we also walked around the mall and went to Tower Records, then it was time for me to go, and them to start heading back to KS.
It was a fun great day, I enjoyed it, I'm so glad I went, I won't forget this day.
