First of all I’m Kelly (Kelsie is a family nickname that I have used since Jordan Knights old message board days lol). Anyway, I have tried going to the set a few times; I always seem to never ever be there on a Will Day. That explains the “Where’s Waldo” joke that my friends and I do on twitter, Donnie was a sweetheart to me, but he admitted truly it was really hard to be there on a Will Day. A member of the crew and God Bless him for it came to me and two other Will girls and told us the day Will was filming. I know they were really not supposed but he knew all three of us have been unlucky so far for Will time. I am forever thankful to them for that. The crew began referring to me as the “Carrot Top Will Girl” lol.
That was why yesterday Wednesday, in the middle of rain, snow & sleet I went to the set yesterday. Even on the bus ride from Brooklyn to NYC yesterday, I kept saying he may not be here. I just did not want to get my hopes up. When I got to where the trailers were, and I saw a trailer I knew was Will’s, I just wanted to jump up and down. That was like 10:30am, and began my very long day; Will was already at wherever he was shooting. I decided best thing to do at that time was wait by the trailer, it had his name on it, and he had to come back to it sooner or later. It was also the weather, it was not a day to go and find wherever the scene was being shot so I waited there, and I did really wait, Will did not get there until like 6:15pm.
I need to admit something really important; I’m a really shy person, friendly and really happy but shy. I was really nervous my whole time waiting because I froze up my first two meetings Donnie on set, I was like what if I freeze up with Will, I was so nervous that I would. I was also losing a little faith at like 6pm, I was like I made a mistake, he really may not be coming back, that was when one of the crew must have seen my face asked who I was waiting for. I said Will expecting to hear he was not coming back, instead I was told he would be there in like 5 minutes. That time I did jump up and down right on the street I was just so excited. He then did tell me oh yeah look he is coming up right behind you, it was pure adrenaline at this point. I approached him, and said Will can I talk to you for just a minute, poor baby he had just spent all day on set, and here I was lol. He said he was in a little bit of a hurry, but would I like to take a picture, I was in awe I swear. He is more beautiful in person; anyway I had brought him a little gift. I had read he was a huge dog person, just like I am so I made a picture dvd of all these really funny dog pictures and set them to music. I also brought him a dog magnet and a card. Anyway, the bag the gift was in I dropped in all my excitement, and he was all polite picking it up, and I was all still stammering saying no that was his. I think he realized he had a very awestruck woman on his hands lol. It was also the moment he took over taking care of me. He said thank you so much for his gift, he extended his hand and introduced himself like I did not know who he was which totally made me so impressed with him and blew me away. He put his arm around me, said here why don’t we get out of the rain, and get into the light over here the picture would be better here. Arm still around me, his phone rang and he apologized for it ringing did not answer me but apologized for it ringing. He led me to a hotel entryway where there was light to take the picture. He gave my phone to I would say the crew member to take the picture, and he even made sure that he did a close up so that the picture was good. He then gave me a hug and told me it was nice meeting me. I was just blown away by just how sweet and down to earth he was. It was really just a wonderful experience and so amazing.
