On the murder-mystery series Reunion, Will Estes plays the laidback-but-instense Will Malloy, whose five high school friends are the source of all his drama. In reality, the actor's high school experiences differed from the average teen's, yet he still dealt with the same problems. Will shares intimate details about himself as a pupil - including his first crush - with J-14.

Class Act?
Due to his acting schedule, Will attended a private school and graduated with nine other people. "I was really cool, funny and everybody liked me," Will jokes. "No, I was out working for some of it. I wasn't a genius or anything, but I got pretty good grades. I was a good kid - for the most part."

A bit of a daydreamer, Will often had trouble focusing on work. "I really just wanted to leave and surf most of the time," he reveals. "Having a car was a huge deal - I was really into cars." But what he wasn't into was his alarm clock. "I wasn't a morning person. I had a girlfriend, and I'd go hang out with her in the evenings. Her parents would kick me out at 11, so I wouldn't get home until like midnight. Then, I had to get up at 6 or 7. That was crazy!

"She was my first girlfriend. I met her when I was 14 and fell in love with her, but she wouldn't date me until I was 16."

Dazed and Confused
During those years, Will couldn't help but feel "confused," and looking back, there's something he knows now that he wishes he did then. "High school is so weird. Everyone is just trying to figure out what's going on and find themselves. Kids can be mean - out of their own insecurities - and that's why they lash out at each other. It's a hard time."
