02.05.05 - More new goodies!! :) Thanks to Zander of barthsburgery.com for letting me use his videos and pics! I'll have more videos from him early next week! :) I'd have TV Alerts right now but I gotta head to work so I'll add them either later tonite or tomorrow - some doesn't even start till Monday or so, I think. I got my Dazzle yesterday but its not compatible w/ XP! Gr!!! I wish the girl would've mentioned it on her ebay site and she thought i should've asked. Well, i forgot! geesh. She doesn't even issue refunds! That's bullcrap. What am I going to do w/ a program that doesn't work?? I've also lost $61! I'll see if I can sell it somewhere if she still wont take it back. OK everyone- now is the time where we really need to band together!!! I received an email from Jonathan Prince and he told me there is still GREAT HOPE for American Dreams. All of our postcards have been received by NBC and by the advertisers. BUT- the decision to renew still has not been made... so here's what we need to do:
After the season finale airs this Wednesday night, we need to BOMBARD NBC with positive and pleading emails. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL BEFORE THE END OF THE SHOW ON WEDNESDAY. What we want to accomplish is an obvious and cohesive show of support. Between Wednesday night March 30th at 9 pm, and Thursday March 31st at 5 pm, write to:

Remember, do not email this address before the show airs on Wednesday.

Will is going to co-star with Michelle Trachtenberg in a Made For TV Movie for Lifetime Channel, entitled "The Dive From Clausen's Pier". This is an adaptation of Ann Packer's best-selling novel of the same name.
The story involves a young woman who is having doubts about marrying her fiance (Will) after he is paralyzed in a diving accident. Filming will begin in April.
Can't wait to see that!! Don't forget to watch the season finale tonite and email NBCUNI afterwards!!

More on Save the Show Campaign!!
If you have participated in the “Keep the Dream Alive” campaign to save American Dreams, you have helped so much! We have definitely made NBC take notice of us. When we sent NBC “SAVE OUR SHOW emails, they received over 4,000 American Dreams emails in one week- when they usually receive about 100. NBC president Kevin Reilly has said that no NBC show has ever received as much mail as we have sent on behalf of our favorite show. You have all put your hearts and souls into writing to NBC, to AD’s commercial sponsors, to the media… we are so grateful! Now we are asking you to help American Dreams one last time.

#1: As you all know, there have been many mentions from various news outlets that American Dreams has been canceled. I emailed Jonathan Prince this morning, and finally got a reply this afternoon, and this is the main idea-
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is official yet. It doesn't look good right now, but NOTHING IS OFFICIAL. I am working like crazy to find out how we can still persuade NBC to bring our show back.
I should have a better idea tomorrow from Mr. Prince as to how we should approach the situation. I will email you guys, and all the message boards and lists tomorrow once I know our "plan of attack."
On a side note, I looked at all the sources this morning, and where people were getting the cancellation news. Did anyone else notice that it was the exact same story at every news outlet? Just because it was on CNN doesn't really mean it's official. Some news person wrote the article on all of ABC's shows, and mentioned that American Dreams wouldn't return. However, NBC would not comment. And then, that exact same story, word for word, was on Yahoo, AOL, CNN, etc... no one could confirm it, yet now that article is everywhere. Haven't we been hearing all this for weeks now? Until you hear it from NBC or Jonathan Prince, just don't believe it!

Everyone has heard the news/rumor that American Dreams has been canceled. You've read it on news sites, message boards, and official sites for the AD cast. This is the information that I have, straight from Jonathan Prince, the show's creator...
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is official yet. It doesn't look good right now, but NOTHING IS OFFICIAL. We still need to show NBC how much American Dreams means to us, and tell them why they MUST bring our show back.
Just because you read it on CNN or AOL or Yahoo doesn't mean that's the final word. That article went out of the AP wire, and everyone picked up the exact same article. The article even said that NBC has not confirmed it.
Arlen's, Brittany's and Rachel's webmasters have announced the cancellation news on their sites. They have heard the news straight from the source, BUT- let me tell you what they have been told. They were told that the chances of the show coming back are VERY SLIM. BUT- NBC could still change their minds before mid-May. This is in no way over. Stranger things have happened.
We are still asking them to keep our show... it is not the time to write, "You people are idiots," or "I'll never watch NBC again!" We need to persuade them to keep the show, not berate or insult them.
I will continue to post more whenever I hear anything.
Please continue to follow these suggestions. Postcards will be most helpful, but do ALL of them.
Remember that nothing official has been declared. We still have a chance. In other words, it's not over until the fat lady sings. The fat lady may be warming up, but she ISN'T SINGING YET!!!
Once NBC does announce something to the public, we really have nothing else to do. So please, let'sat least go out fighting.

OK, are you ready for the HUGE CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCEMENT?
I was trying to think outside the box. Something bigger than a magazine ad in one of the Hollywood trade magazines. Bigger than a "Save Our Show" billboard. Something that hasn't been done before... so here's what we're going to do.
At 11 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, a plane will be flying around NBC Burbank with a banner saying, "NBC - KEEP AMERICAN DREAMS!" Kevin Reilly's office has been alerted. Jeff Zucker just happens to be at NBC Burbank this week having meetings with Mr. Reilly. The plane will fly from Orange County to Burbank, (advertising our message all the way... over 40 miles) and circle around the NBC offices for one hour.
I have sent press releases to all Los Angeles Media Outlets, such as People Magazine, Entertainment Tonight, Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles Times, local tv news, local radio stations, etc... I talked to many people at these agengies personally, and they seem very interested in the story.

Los Angeles, CA – May 3, 2005 - On Wednesday, May 4, 2005, fans of the NBC drama “American Dreams” will be demonstrating their passion for the show by flying an aerial ad above NBC Studios Burbank. NBC will be deciding this week whether or not “American Dreams” will return in the fall. Fans are determined to make their voices heard regarding quality programming they can share with their families.
Campaign coordinator Leigh Brooks says, “I’ve had fans write to me from every demographic. A twelve year-old girl wrote to say that she watches it with her mother and grandmother. TV ALERT! - I remember back in 2003 that this was on and FINALLY we got another part of it!! 7th Heaven - Love Stinks - Part 2!!! Today, at 5pm CST, 6pm EST,etc for an hour on ABC Family!!! :) I haven't seen it before! lol
I'm ready for a new layout lol The reason why I said that I'll try to have the caps up by May 24th, is because my stepbro is in the Air Force and he's coming home for a 30 day vacation before he heads off to the next destination out of the country (again!). We might be going on vacation too. We haven't seen him in a year and there's a possibilty that we'll go thru another year not seeing him again. I'll probably do some little updates while he's here, or I might not be updating a whole lot. If there's much to update during that time. I just wanted to let everyone know! It is not looking good for American Dreams. The absolute final decision will be made/announced this coming Monday, May 16th. Friday is our last chance to make our voices heard. It isn't as if American Dreams was doomed from the start regarding renewal... our efforts have really caught NBC's attention. There has been a lot of debate within NBC about the show's fate. So let's try this last time to make our voices heard. Some of you may be tired of fighting, and may think it's a lost cause, but please do this one last task. It could be AD's saving grace.
Here is the plan:
We are going to email Jeff Zucker on Friday with a specific message. We've already poured our hearts out, now we want to make a very specific point. All you have to do is copy and paste this message into your email:
Mr. Zucker, I am a loyal watcher of American Dreams. Please don't go searching for viewers via new tv pilots. We're here, and we're already watching! Please keep our dreams alive, and find a place for "American Dreams" in NBC's fall schedule.

Hello! I'm finally back!! I got to see Dive and I LOVED IT!! I wanted to get online so bad and post about it! lol My stepdad wouldn't let me use his laptop, gr!! I'm going to buy one myself!! lol He did an AMAZING job, even though he didn't have very many scenes. I'll start on the caps today, if I'm still off from work. Thing though, my tape stopped almost to the end, so I didn't get Will at the dock. Oops lol I was taping ET before it, just incase if they were going to talk about the movie (they didnt'!), so then I accidentially made it go longer on that channel and taped an hour of golf!! GR! lol So I have to wait till Sat to tape it again, I dont know why they wont reair it during the week! So if I get the caps done before Sat, I'll go ahead and post them, then add the ending sat nite. After the movie, it seems like Will got some new fans!! Got some new clique members, a new guestbook entry, and 5 new members to my updates list!! Yay!! lol Ok here are the updates! I gotta catch up on sleep! I'm sure most of you already heard about the AD news. NBC might re-air the last episode of the series, but with a 12 minute alternate ending sometime this summer. I hear its sad!! I can't believe that it was actually canceled in Dec!! Here is the article:
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Fans left cold by the vague end in May of NBC's family drama American Dreams, starring Tampa native Brittany Snow, will get some closure.
Executive producer Jonathan Prince, talking Friday with a handful of critics at the close of the Television Critics Association summer meeting, said NBC has agreed to air a revamped series finale for the show that was canceled in May. A broadcast of the re-edited one-hour finale can be expected sometime in August or early September and will include 12 minutes of new footage that will wrap up the series, Prince said.
Snow, who has gone on to a movie career and is filming in Vancouver, Canada, will figure prominently in the new ending. The new segments pick up three years after viewers last saw Snow heading to Berkeley, Calif. in 1966. She has changed, but she is ready to go home, Prince said.
The extra minutes will conclude the series properly, he said. Still undetermined is where and exactly when the finale will air, whether it will be on NBC or on a sister station such as cable outlet Bravo. Prince said the episode is complete, although some music fees have to be paid for songs he has never used on the series.
"I promise you, there will be weeping," Prince said. "It is a beautiful and sad thing to watch."
Prince said Dreams drew advertising dollars well throughout its run and had broad critical support, but it never got the viewership numbers it needed to keep NBC executives satisfied. The network was getting "creamed" on Sunday nights, and the entire evening had to be revamped from the network's standpoint, he said.
It was actually canceled in December, Prince said. As producer, he told no one, and instead forged deals with Kraft foods to incorporate Kraft cheese and Oreo cookies in two episodes, for a fee, that ensured the show would finish out the season. Viewers who remember the scene where a child makes a cheese mask out of his slice can now know the shot was bought and paid for.
By March, as the shooting wrapped up, Prince said he had a bad feeling. On the last days of shooting, he shot an extra 12 minutes, without explaining to Snow or the others why they were going to have to wear different clothes than they normally wore. It took a day and a half to prepare, and then Prince said he put it aside.
It was his secret. He said he didn't want to let on to network executives because there was still a chance the show could be saved for a whole new season.
"I smelled a rat," Prince said. "I just sort of smelled the low ratings."

Raul emailed me about Reunion and for the '1988' episode, the ratings were 3.0/4! Which is #2, behind The OC. Fox is #4 on the list. Also, according to the futon critic, Fox has asked to write 4 more scripts for 'Reunion'!!
As for "Reunion," FOX has asked for four more scripts of the drama - a positive sign for the show's future. The news comes in spite of a lackluster 74.19% retention rate of "The O.C." among adults 18-49 last week according to Nielsen's fast national data for the night.

Sorry I didn't update more today but I was called into work :( I'm SO tired, course I stayed up till 4am lol We'll see how much I get done tonite. Here are some AD news :( from vidiot.com, not sure where the news came from though.
Question: Any word on NBC's American Dreams finale redo? - Katrina
Ausiello: It's officially DOA. In a statement released exclusively to Ask
Ausiello, an NBC rep says, "Unfortunately, due to postproduction issues, NBC
will not be able to broadcast the 12-minute alternative ending of last year's
American Dreams finale." And as easy as it would be to pin the blame squarely
on Jeff Zucker's shoulders, I hear the guy tried his best to make it happen.
Not only were there music-clearance issues - apparently Jonathan Prince packed
enough classics in those 12 minutes to bankrupt a third-world country - but
sponsors were unwilling to get behind a show that had already been canceled.
There's still a glimmer of hope, though: The alterna-capper could be included
on Dreams' third-season DVD, whenever the hell that comes out.

This took longer than expected! I have 88 photos in the New Additions - 10/19/05 album! I just realized I saved the same pics from the NBC 7.11.04 party but the ones in the additions album is bigger! So when I moved these photos to the right place, I'll delete the other ones. Ausiello: Well, the first half of your wish came true, LJ. Chris is definitely out of Meg's life. And I know this because ? brace yourselves, Dreamers, ? I've seen the elusive epilogue! Jonathan Prince sent a DVD copy to me via armored vehicle late last week and all I can say is it more than lived up to the hype. Now, before I present you with the highlights, let me assure you that, come hell or high water, you will see the ending, too. Worse case scenario: You'll have to wait for the Season 2 and 3 boxed DVD set, which will hopefully street sometime in '06. "We're in negotiations now," Prince says of the DVD. "And the epilogue would absolutely be included." But there's slight chance you won't have to wait until then. I can't get into specifics, but a top-secret plan is afoot that could bring the ending to you much sooner and cement my status as an American hero in the process. Hopefully, I'll have more to share in the coming weeks.

Hello! Here are the Inside TV scans!!! The 2nd scan has some weird yellow coloring in it but its very faded. You just have to look closely, hopefully my scanner isn't going out! I'll try again when I get off work. I'll also have the article typed up then too! My Dazzle has a DVD ROM to install Studio 9 but my puter doesn't have a DVD ROM, or so I think it does, I've been trying to figure it out for the last few nights. I'm asking some smart computer ppl about that lol Later! :)

I forgot another pic!! I didn't have time to go through the mag. I couldn't make another scan of that pic, it showed it again! Weird. Anyway, finally got the whole dvd rom thing figured out. I'd have to buy a dvd rom software offline in order to get the decoder! I'm off today, yay! So I'll be going out and buying it! :) Plus I have the article from the mag, it has another in there too. Hello! I FINALLY got the calendar up! I had problems getting it to work!! So we'll be using the calendar for appearances! :) Man I want to work on the caps soooooooooooo bad lol I got a program yesterday but its too big so I had to return it. I got an earlier version from ebay for only $5!! LoL Let's hope I still have computer space after adding the dvd decoder and dazzle's studio 9!! I got my 1st issue of Inside TV in the mail today and there's Will!! As the Daily Male. It's also online w/ a voting poll - vote for 'sizzling'!! hehe. For those of you wondering whether NBC will be releasing Seasons' 2 and 3 on DVD, Johnathon Prince is currently in negotiations with NBC about the DVD's. Hopefully, the DVD's will be released sometime in '06. If they are released, the alternative ending WILL be included.
Also, there is a slight chance you may not have to wait until the DVD's are released to see the alternative ending! According to tv-guide, there is a top-secret plan in place to release the alternative ending to all dreamer fans sooner! In the message boards, there are some additional facts about the Alternative Ending posted. Warning though!! They are spoilers.. but you can visit the forum to see them!

I'm finally back! I've had a crazy week, actually 2 weeks, I was working 10 days in a row!! :( So that got me stressed out. I was so tired and restless. I'm back to normal though! :) I'm off today, yay!! So I'll go back to work on the new fanlisting and all. Anyway, Reunion is #25 in the Top 25 New Shows of the Season! I'm sure you've all heard the bad news :( Here is the CNN article. It did say that FOX hasn't made an official statement so let's hope they'll continue the rest of the season and not leave us hanging!! :( I see that Reunion will be on this Thurs and the next! Also, Inside TV magazine is being discontinued, the one and only mag that has featured Will more than once!! What a day, that's for sure. Oh and I finally got the site back. I was just too tired to figure out the problem, it was an easy one too! lol I'll try to update later on tonite or something - I have yet to start w/ the caps again and I haven't received soaptalk yet. Oh and I'm still going to launch the Malloy fanlisting!

The would-be escapees didn't make it over the wall on FOX's "Prison Break" Monday night, and now fans of the show will have to wait three-plus months before finding out what happens next.
Also at the network, the "Reunion" of six high-school classmates from 1986 won't make it all the way to 20 years. FOX has decided against a full season of the high-concept drama, in which each episode tracks a year in the lives of six friends who, in the present day, are embroiled in a murder mystery.
If the show proceeds in its current year-per-episode structure, it would end in 1998, well short of the present-day murder investigation that's driving the story. The show's writers could also skip some years in the remaining episodes; a spokesperson for Warner Bros. TV, which produces "Reunion," says a decision hasn't been made yet about how the series will conclude.
After a decent start to the season, "Reunion" has faltered of late in the rough 9 p.m. Thursday timeslot. It's averaging just 4.3 million viewers per week and loses about a third of the audience from its lead-in, "The O.C."

Other networks are considering picking up Reunion. However, no one network has come out with an official statement saying if they would or not. However, I received an e-mail from the WB, saying that they would consider picking the show up if they received enough e-mails and letters from fans. We would actually get to see the full season if the WB picks it up. However, we have to act fast! The actors will go on to pursue other jobs if changes are not made by the beginning of January. Please e-mail faces@theWB.com to let them know how much you would appreciate them considering airing Reunion. UNHAPPY REUNION: Fox's Reunion, which was canceled a few weeks ago but wasn't scheduled to actually bow out until Feb. 2, aired its final episode on Dec. 15. "Yes, it was [the last episode], unfortunately," a rep for the series tells TVGuide.com. JEERS to FOX for ruining Reunion. The serial drama was designed to play out over 22 episodes, with each hour representing part of a 20-year span in the lives of a group of high school friends caught up in a murder mystery. But when the network canceled the show after only 13 episodes, the writers were unable to solve the case, leaving Reunion's small but loyal fan base hanging. That's a crime.
