Hottie of the Month: Will Estes

Will says that with a girl, "when you can laugh together, that's great. It means that there's the potential to be friends, which is important in a relationship."

How's he like his character:
"I feel like he's a good kid. On the show, it's 1965 and he's been sent to Vietnam. He wants to do the right thing. He's very red white and blue, which is indicative of the time. He's also idealistic, and I think I am, too. I think he believes in the better side of people. He's a good person, and I like to think of myself as a good person. So yeah, that's how we're similar. But I think we're different - he's more native than I am."

On playing a military man:
"I've been trying to work out since I got cast as a Marine. I've been reading about it, too. Don't write that I just sit home and stuff my face and watch TV. Bonbons - that's what you're going to write, isn't it? If you're in Marine training, you just eat bonbons."

He's considered joining the military...
"But doing it on TV is way better. I get to do almost all the fun stuff, like shoot the guns and run around, but I don't have to clean the latrine or bunk with 40 other dudes every night. I get to wear the uniform and shoot, then I get to go home."

When it comes to the ladies, he's a little old-fashioned:
"I love it when a girl is smart and funny. Humor is a huge thing. If you can laugh with someone, and laugh about the same things, that's usually a big connection. I like it if she's confident, yet really feminine. I want a confident girl that will let me pay for dinner."

It's not that he doesn't like presents, it's just that...
"Stuff doesn't really matter. I think what they say, that it's the thought that counts, is really true. It's great just to know that someone is thinking about you."
